A Letter to my Mother Tongue

My dear Mother Tongue Tamilzh,  You are the first language that I learned, which is soft, gentle, and sweet. You taught me to speak and write through my Amma and made me hear moral stories with proverbs. You are the best beginning of my childhood memories. Though I know how to speak and write other languages, none sounds as good as you. You are my favorite, you are the best, you are my pride, you are my roots, and you are my ancestry, as you are one of the oldest languages in the world.
