THE POISON OF HATRED

The poison of hatred lurks in the shadows

It compels every vein to act according to it’s desires

It corrupts the heart and leave agonising scars and burning pain

And surrounded by darkness to be in vain

The poison wraps itself around our soul

Blinding reason and destroying self control

Grudges and bitterness increase to the core

Refusing the soul to be pure

Yet we should rise , dispel the venom’s craft

And heal each other with empathy and grace 

For in the face of hatred, we shall stand united

And the light of compassion will heal each and every one

By out shine the glowing bright sun.
